About Us
Millie & Ollie is an artisan boutique named after maker/designer, Heidi Miller, and her partner, Don Olson. The couple met during college, kissed in an alley next to a dive bar's dumpster (yes, really), and the rest is history. 17 years later, they are enjoying life as romantic and business partners.
As a child, Heidi spent countless hours watching her grandfather (a hobbyist woodworker) and her father (a professional videographer and photographer) as they pushed the limits of their creativity. An entrepreneur at heart, she and her cousins had art sales as young children, drawing numerous pictures before letting the family shop. Her passion for polymer clay jewelry making began in the 90s and early 2000s and was reignited during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All of this taught Heidi that a fire of passion exists in her heart for making, which led to her pursuing her BFA and MFA degrees in graphic design.
While she loves her current work as a design studio director, jewelry allows Heidi the creative freedom to make without limitations. Don, ever patient, puts in endless hours of sanding and drilling—the finishing stage that makes the pieces come to life.
Millie & Ollie's jewelry is handmade and carefully crafted to provide you with wearable, lightweight art. Our pieces are generally one-of-a-kind and are undeniably yours and yours alone. Whether you’re searching for the perfect gift or finally treating yourself, we hope our work helps others better express their authentic selves.
